Rev. Michael Chandler, Executive Treasurer

Pastor Michael T. Chandler serves as the 12th Senior Pastor of the African Baptist Church in Cheriton, Virginia. Pastor Chandler is a native of The Eastern Shore of Virginia.


Pastor Chandler is a proud alumnus of Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and is a graduate of Liberty University where he earned his Master of Science in Accounting. In May of 2020, he has earned his Master of Divinity Degree at Virginia University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, Virginia. Rev. Chandler is currently a learner in the Leonard N. Smith School of Religion Doctoral of Ministry Program at the Virginia University of Lynchburg.


Pastor Michael T. Chandler is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and the NAACP. Pastor Chandler is married to Mrs. Shevara Chandler and a loving father to two wonderful children (Keisi & Mason). Pastor Chandler loves God and God’s people and works to serve God through his life and words.
